Our 1-Day Masterclass is aimed at those that want to condense our 3-day course into one fast-paced 10-hour 16mm bonanza, alongside some pre and post prep web-sessions!
Pre-Production (before the workshop):
We hold a group intro call with all participants where we learn about our backgrounds, aim for the course and share some pre-reading resources and answer any questions ahead of the day. We also share some pre-homework for the shoot!
Production Day (workshop day!):
After an introduction to 16mm film, we move straight to getting hands-on with our 16mm Camera’s (Bolex + Arri 16 SR) to cover loading, metering and shooting. We then have a fashion-themed shoot based on our pre-production with live talent and move on to discussing post production.
Post Production
Films get processed within a few days and 10-bit grade-ready scans of our raw footage are uploaded to our group Dropbox where you are then tasked to produce your own edit to our group spec and then share your work with the group for discussion in a final follow up call.
Based at either Wickham Market or Rendlesham in Suffolk, UK.
Travel to/from train stations can be assisted with by prior arrangement.

Tea / Coffee + Biscuits available throughout. Staggered lunches and breaks depending on group size.
