Film lab

Our Cine lab is the beating heart of our operation - it’s small in size but this is where it all started for us, trying to process our own Super8 films in lomo tanks and then working out how to scan them!

As we don’t have the space to operate an industrial Motion Picture Film Lab, we partner with other labs to process ECN2 + E6 Cine films and perform scans in-house on our FilmFabriek HDS+ 5.4k scanner at a very affordable price.

We also provide the only B&W Reversal hand-processing in the UK as this is not a ready available service.

Please note for scans that we now only accept USB 3.0 or better storage devices. This is because USB 2.0 speeds are very slow in comparison, with sustained speeds far lower than the USB 2.0 rated speed. This can have a tangible impact on turn-around times. We can provide USB 3.0 devices at minimal cost and will do so at an additional cost when a USB 2.0 device is sent for the above reasons.
