Poly Film Labs is an independent Film lab based in Suffolk, UK, specialising in motion picture film workflows from shooting through to final digital delivery.

We provide film processing and scanning services for Super 8, 16mm and D8/DS8 films, with a particular focus on Black & White reversal and high-quality digital scans designed for creative use.

Our approach is simple: help people shoot film properly, and deliver results they can actually use. Whether you're testing your first roll or working on a finished project, we focus on giving you a reliable, considered result every time.

We focus on a small number of specialist services:

Poly Film Labs was built from a passion for analog film and a belief that the process of shooting on film should be as rewarding as the final result. As a small, specialist lab, turnaround times may vary depending on demand, but every roll is handled with care using a hands-on, considered approach.

Beyond lab services, we are part of a wider creative ecosystem. We are the partner lab and technical resource for Firedrake Studios, a Suffolk-based studio focused on cinematic storytelling, and we support Vibe Cinemas, an analog cinema experience bringing real film projection back to audiences.

This end-to-end involvement — from shooting and processing through to projection — gives us a practical understanding of film that goes beyond the lab, and informs everything we do.
